"Dubky" restaurant. Located in the north-western part of the city of Kyiv near the "Syrets" metro station (Shevchenkivskyi district). Despite the significant age of the building (over 50 years), the image conceived by the authors is still impressive.
The basis of the composition of the building form is a combination of walls made of natural stone, a facade made of wooden boards, a large area and regular metric glazing of the facade, as well as a roof with a significant slope. The use of natural materials helps to somewhat soften the contrast between the building and the surroundings (wooded hill) and is reminiscent of the traditional architecture of the Carpathians. Friends, what do you think of such architecture?
